Returns and Exchanges

Our jewelry is hand-finished in small batches with great care. If you are unhappy with something you have purchased, please contact

We currently don't accept returns but would be happy to exchange your jewelry if it arrives damaged or defective. Note that because our jewelry is hand-finished, no two pieces are exactly the same. 


If your jewelry arrives damaged or defective, email us at within 5 business days of the date of delivery. Please include a brief description about what is damaged/defective along with photos. We'll assess the piece to determine whether it is a manufacturers’ defect, natural wear and tear, or an irregularity due to the hand-finished nature of the item. Don’t try to repair the defect yourself. We will gladly exchange your piece if the damage is deemed to be a manufacturer's defect. 

All packaging must be included in your return or exchange. We must receive the defective piece before sending out a new item for exchange. Sale or promotional items, including promo codes, are final and cannot be exchanged.

Shipping Fees for Exchanges

If Buo Jewelry deems the jewelry has a manufacturer's defect, we will cover  shipping fees to administer the exchange.

All items are shipped within 3-5 business days once Buo Jewelry approves an exchange. Shipping time is based on the destination; view estimated shipping times here. 

Lost Earring

We would be happy to replace a single earring for you if we have a matching earring in stock.  Please email us at with a clear photo of the earring you need to pair. The cost to replace a single earring is 50% of the original retail price + shipping and applicable taxes.
